I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Sprint. I received a product to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. this post does contain affiliate links.
As a Sprint Ambassador, I’ve been able to try out some great phones this year. The 4G LG was great at taking photos, especially selfies and my husband and I really enjoyed putting it to the test when we were on our cross country road trip to Oregon and the California Coast. That phone definitely had some perks, but then I was sent a Samsung Galaxy Note5 to review and I fell in love. There are several features that I really LOVE about this phone. Here are three reasons why I think this phone is perfect for bloggers.
- The Galaxy Note5 features an S Pen that allows you to write, take notes or draw on the 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED® display.
This feature is perfect for press or FAM trips. On my most recent trip to California, I didn’t pack a notebook, I simply took all my notes on my phone. It was perfect. How many times have you returned home form a press trip, sat down to write your post and a) misplaced your notebook or b) spent way too much time finding the notes you took? With the Samsung Galaxy Note5, your notes are right on your phone, or you can see point 2.
- You can transfer photos and files from your phone to your computer (most PC’s and Macs) with SideSync 4.0.
This is extremely handy. No need to mess with USB or media cards, I can transfer files from my phone directly to OneNote, Google Drive, Dropbox and more, which saves time so I can focus on non-blog related tasks.
- You can leave your heavy camera at home and shoot photos and video with the Samsung Galaxy Note5.
The 16-megapixel, rear-facing camera includes auto-focus, Burst shot, 8x zoom, LED flash and panoramic photo capabilities. You can use the camera on auto or pro which allows for better picture taking capability. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I realized that users have the ability to add up to three custom settings. With a Samsung account, you can download a number of free apps that include the Beauty Face, Food shot, Dual camera, Sports shot and more. There’s also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for those that love to take selfies.
