  • How many pictures do you generally take when you go on vacation? I'm still going through photos that I took on my last road trip. I took thousands on my quest to document our experience, and hundreds of those were taken at Driftwood Beach where my husband and I spent 3-4 hours (over two days) marveling at the view before us. Of all those photos, this is one of my favorites. It may not be dramatic like my sunrise photos but I love how it shows the scale of the fallen trees.   • It's not often that my husband gets time off during the week on a beautiful day. Those of you who live in Ohio will understand what I mean by beautiful though others may question my sanity since it was only 43 degrees outside. But compared to the much lower temperatures from earlier in the week, today felt like a heat wave and we made the most of it by stopping by Brandywine Falls in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Follow the signs from the parking lot to the boardwalk which ends at the falls. The view from the top of the falls is an easy walk and if you want to walk down some stairs (about 40 or so altogether) you can view the falls from closer to the base.   • We stopped at the @pearlfryartopiarygarden on the last day of our van camping trip. I had hoped to meander the grounds with my husband but we got into a fight just as we pulled up so he wouldn't go with me. His loss. I wouldn't have missed the opportunity to explore.   • Can I let you in on a little secret? My husband and I recently visited Key West and I didn't love it. But what I did enjoy was driving along the Overseas Highway and pulling off on the side of the road when it was permitted to photograph the pelicans, iguanas and beautiful turquoise water. I also enjoyed hanging out and relaxing in the @fl.stateparks along the way. Key West may not have been our cup of tea but there were plenty of other spots to explore and we'd love to return when some of the state park campgrounds reopen so we can explore more. _______________________ Have you been to the Florida Keys?
