I’m excited to announce that my daughter Chelsea will now join me as a writer for The Traveling Praters. You’ve seen her photos, heard her opinions through me and now you’ll hear them through her own voice.
As a teen I like to be as comfortable as possible. I also don’t like spending money but I’m not sure if that’s a teen thing or a me thing. So, I shop at cheap places, because I’m cheap. Such as the thrift store, and bargain stores for my comfy travel clothes.
I love finding great deals! One great deal I found was this outfit!
#1. The North Face Jacket
I got this jacket for under $50 at TJ Maxx, Super great deal. This The North Face Jacket is so comfy and warm. It doesn’t take up a bunch of room, either in my suitcase or in the car. Its versatile. I can pretty much throw it on with anything- yoga pants when I don’t care, or a trendy pair of jeans when I do care.
#2. Yoga Pants
I picked up these yoga pants at a thrift store for $.99, again such a great deal. Yoga pants are a must for road trips, or any trip for that matter. At 5′ 9″ , I’m pretty tall so it’s difficult to find yoga pants that are actually long enough for me and don’t make me look awkward or like a total dork.
#3. Shoes
When I’m on a road trip, I have to have shoes that are easy to slip on. I can’t stand to wear shoes in the car. Flip flops are perfect, in most weather. I even wear them in the winter, but not if their is a considerable amount of snow on the ground. I love comfort, but I’m not crazy. I especially love to wear flip flops in air ports. Going through security lines suck and I for one don’t want to spend more time there than I have to. Flip flops are a must when it comes to comfy, inexpensive travel clothes.

You just described my daily outfit but instead of flip-flops it's Crocs slides unless there is snow.

Yes, flip-flops aren't ideal for snow. That's for sure.
