Erie Life Insurance Offers Peace of Mind for your Future

This post was sponsored by Erie Insurance as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

While you celebrate all of life’s milestone moments, make sure your life insurance policy meets your needs for continued peace of mind.

This past year has been crazy for my family. And I’m not talking pandemic crazy. Our year was crazy long before that.

Our oldest son married his best friend and we gained a daughter-in-law who loves roadside attractions as much as I do- or at least pretends to.  They just celebrated their one year anniversary!

Our other son set off on his third deployment overseas which is always terrifying for a mama. Thankfully, he returned home safely in July. Not only was he away serving our country, but he was also earning his bachelor’s degree and starting grad school.

And our 23-year old baby girl just landed a terrific job that she loves and bought her very first brand new car.

As empty-nesters, it’s a wonderful thing to watch your kids spread their wings and fly. We have so much to be thankful for and celebrate this year!  But our year wasn’t without a few challenges.

Last year, my husband sustained life-threatening injuries when he fell 20 feet off an extension ladder. Thankfully, he has recovered but had the unthinkable happened, I would have received some peace of mind knowing that we had planned ahead.

The past year may have slowed us down a bit, and made us appreciate what is truly important in life. We love to spend as much time with our kids and family as we can. We travel and explore the world we live in as much as possible- even if that only means road tripping close to home right now. We make every effort to live life to the fullest.

One thing we never want to do is burden each other or our kids with burial expenses or other expenses when our time comes. That’s why we each have life insurance policies to take care of any expenses they would need to deal with. And, we make sure they know our wishes. I’d rather have those hard conversations now so they aren’t left guessing later.

Part of being prepared is to research and purchase life insurance. My husband and I have had Erie Insurance for years for our business and his vehicle. But we put off purchasing life insurance because we thought it would be too expensive- we were wrong. Life insurance doesn’t have to be expensive.

This is where your insurance agent comes in. Talk to them and share the needs you have. You may opt to purchase insurance for peace of mind as we did. Life insurance can ensure your family is taken care of in case something happens to you. Life insurance may cover living expenses, college fees, or allow you to continue living in your family home.

Did you know that September is Life Insurance Awareness Month? This is the perfect time to make sure you have the coverage you need so the people that love you and care for you will have one less thing to worry about if you weren’t around.

So while you’re celebrating those life milestones- a great new job, returning from a deployment, college graduation, a wedding, and getting back on your feet after an accident make sure your life insurance policy meets your needs.

Check out Erie Insurance today and you can speak with an agent to discuss options. You may be surprised to learn how inexpensive peace of mind can cost.

Do you have life insurance? Is it enough to meet your needs now and in the future?
