The Treehouse Idol
The idol is an object that former guests had hidden at the treehouse.
They wrote about it in the guest book with a drawing of the object and subsequent guests continued the practice by finding and hiding the object over and over.
My husband read the clues and we learned everywhere the idol had been placed and found. With each entry, our intrigue grew until we got to the last entry and clue and it was our turn.
It only took a minute to find the idol, but it took us until the next morning to determine a new hiding place and a clue for the next guests to the treehouse.
I don’t know if each treehouse has an idol, but it would certainly be a fun surprise for the guests. My husband and I enjoyed it.

Treenhouses and cabins are blocked thurs-sun (march-december) for"regular folks" who aren't part of a wedding event.

They do open up 90 days out from the date now if they are available. But yes, wedding parties and wedding guests do have first option of renting the lodging properties.

Your photos look so great! These treehouses are like the treehouses I wanted when I was a child. We'd love to go and check these. Thanks for sharing Tonya! What's it like sleeping in one of those?

It was an amazing place to stay. I'm looking forward to a return visit to stay in one of the other treehouses on the property.
