- Hocking Hills State Park – is there anything more romantic than a walk in the woods, or a picnic at the base of a waterfall? Hocking Hills State Park has several walking trails of varying difficulty and length, so there is something for everyone.
- Wine Tasting – the Hocking Hills region has several wineries and tasting rooms. At Manchester Hill Winery, the tasting room serves light bites. Rockside Winery serves small plates and pizza and has live music on Saturdays. The Hocking Hills Winery offers wine flights, finger foods and the option to have local food delivered while you enjoy wine around their fireplace. They also offer their incredible wine slushies to go so you can sip them on the deck of your cabin.
- Hocking Hills Moonshine (519 E Front Street, Logan) – wine not your style? Hocking Hills has a moonshine distillery, which you can tour. Tasting is also available for those looking to take some moonshine home!
- Bicycle Rental – Ohio is famous for the rails to trails networks throughout the state, and the Hocking Hills region is no exception. Black Diamond Bicycles rents all kinds of bikes for a cruise on the Hockhocking Pathway just outside the shop doors.
- Starbrick Gallery & Gifts (21 W Columbus Street, Nelsonville) – a Victorian home which exhibits artwork from over 30 regional artists. Check the calendar for special events and exhibitions.
- Hocking Hills Scenic Air Tours (66285 Airport Road, New Plymouth) – choose from customized flights of 20 minutes to one hour; sunset and evening flights are also available.
- Stuart’s Opera House (52 Public Square, Nelsonville) – this 19th-century opera house hosts over 75 performances each year in Nelsonville’s Historic Arts District.
- Couples Massage – choose from one of several local spas to indulge in a couple’s massage. You can visit a spa and enjoy relaxing there, or have a massage therapist come to your lodging; both options are available in the Hocking Hills region.
