When you think of Christmas lights, the first venue to pop in your mind may not be the Ghostly Manor. But I had the opportunity to check this out with my niece and nephew a couple years ago and we all absolutely loved the experience!
Enjoy a Christmas Light Show at the Ghostly Manor
Looking for Christmas displays to enjoy with your family? Ghostly Manor in Sandusky has kicked off the holiday season with a free Christmas light show. The show runs daily through January 1st and begins each evening at 6 pm, continuing every 30 minutes until midnight.
Pack the popcorn, hot chocolate and blankets and head to the Ghostly Manor for some holiday cheer.
If you’re looking for something free to do with the kids or even for a cheap date night, simply drive up to Ghostly Manor, park your car in the parking lot facing the building and tune your car radio to 99.7 FM. Watch as thousands of Christmas lights shine to a choreographed display of timeless Christmas classics. Some of the songs we heard during our visit were; Snoopy Christmas, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas” and my favorite, the Trans Siberian Orchestra,- all from the warmth of your car.
This free light show is Ghostly Manor’s Christmas gift to the community. However, if you’re able to take some canned goods or non-perishable foods along as they do accept food donations.
If you have a bit more time, Ghostly Manor Thrill Center will entertain you and your family for hours! Every Wednesday in December is Family Fun Night from 4 to 8 pm. Escape the cold and snow, enjoy a warm cup of hot cocoa as you ride the XD Motion Theater Movie “Sleigh Ride”, the roller skating rink, 3D black-light mini golf, bounce houses, 3-level play area, arcade, and delicious food and drinks to warm your soul this winter! Plus, on December 18th, Santa will be making a special appearance from the North Pole from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Pack up your family and enjoy quality time and quality entertainment.
