This Amish Horse and Buggy ATM in Wellington, Ohio is a unique stop for anyone who loves to seek out roadside attractions.
With the largest population of Amish in the United States, it’s not surprising that you’d find an unusual Amish horse and buggy ATM in Ohio. The surprise is that you won’t find this in Holmes County where the bulk of the Amish population resides, but at the Lormet Community Federal Credit Union on Main Street in Wellington.
I was excited to pass by this roadside attraction on a recent drive along State Route 58 and though I’ve passed by several times before, this was the first time that I’ve really noticed it. At first glance, it could almost look like a real Amish horse and buggy.
I didn’t realize until I had left town that another roadside attraction, the Spirit of ’76 Museum is also in Wellington, and located across from the ATM. I’ll be sure to check that out next time.
