Hocking Hills

Hocking Hills is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Ohio, and because it’s a State Park, it’s also very budget-friendly especially if you stay in one of these charming tiny houses.

Ohio is one of the few states in the US that does not charge entrance fees or parking fees at state parks. That means you can enjoy dozens of waterfalls and hiking trails at Hocking Hills State Park without spending a dime.

Bring your own picnic lunch for a romantic day camped out near a waterfall, or pop into one of the many surrounding towns for authentic Midwest comfort food. Even the overnight options near Hocking Hills are affordable. Camper cabins start at just $40 per night.
